Once a character is created, he or she needs a purpose.  With my first character creation, I wanted Nick to be as different as the storyline would have been at the time.  As my mind worked on this, I occupied my creative time building my arsenal of characters and alternate story lines.

This period lasted nearly six years, while all the pieces were put into place.  Then, I sat down and began to write, focused on a genre that was unfamiliar to me.  Born under the sign of the dragon, I'm not completely obtuse about wizards and fairies. It was just never my cup of tea.  Still, I pushed on, striving to give Dragon's Fang a purpose. The result was a short story titled Dark Horizons.

The idea was sound, or at least enough for me to accomplish my goal. So much so that I merged the stories together. Then, I boxed it up, and never looked at it again, until 2006. Inspired by my bride to be, I opened the box and began to rewrite the story.  The result was Lady Victorius, published December of last year.  Overwhelmed by the response, I have been inspired to release three sequels, all stemming from the Dark Horizons origins, including a series of my action titles spotlighting the main characters in the final chapter, Dark Horizons: The End of Times.  For now, enjoy the the chapter sample of Lady Victorius.
